ah trains! so i have a weiiiird obsession with trains. my papou worked for union pacific and ever since he passed away my whole family sees trains and looks at him...so its not a weird obsession but i do love them. this one is different because you see all these different trains going to one middle point. i love that they are all coming together and emergenging from one side, as the other just has tracks.

sooooo this one i love because beach chairs and umbrellas make me happy. end of story. they remind me of like the fifties where you see the cute pictures with like the women and their retro swimsuits and i just love that whole scene. i specifically like this one because i havent seen a photo with thatttt many chairs and umbrellas! the colors are well they are very pretty. and i also like that they arent all in lines and there are people and other objects innn the photo.

i lurrrve this one as well because of the straight line of one subject. i love that concept! and the blue boats are just a brilliant idea.

KERIK KOUKLIS

so this is the first photographer search of the yearrr! haha this was by far my favorite thing to do last year....and yes. so i found this man kerik and i really like his last name because it sounds greek! ha but i chose two of my favorite photos by him!






i love loveee this photo. i think the color is cool because it is wood of course and the color of the photo interprets the woods and kind of an ancient wood... i like that there is mystery to see what is beehind the wood...but well never know. i love when there is consecuative amount of a certain something in this case it is the wood. i love things in lines. and the leaves are the ground are a nice nice touch!





sooo now this one. kay so this photo represents kerik's whole collection. all of his photos are really almost erie looking. and there are a lot of trees and stuff. i like this one because of the buildings in the back that is san fran. i love city pictures and this one brings in a sense of that to a scerene erie scene....

sooo i love lightroom. although i told you today that i have major issues on editing my photos and i never ever know what to do or what to mess with...it kinda sucks. in this photo i just wanted to make the leaves a little lighter which weas good. i can see that you could really change your photos in bad and good ways. it will be interesting to see my extend of lightroom used this year...

UVU Vids

Travis says even though the location can kinda suuuuuuck that you can always make beautiful photos that people will react to. He went back to the same location everytime and he is never disappointed. when they ask where the picture was taken they are all surprised by utah lake. Whenever he goes back he finds something new to look for.

ted- mulitiple truths to every image taryn. i didnt really understand what she was putting forward...i did listen but i didnt really even understand....i really liked her photography though she was really interesting as far as art went. i loved the series of photos she took withthe people from jail....

ASSIGNMENT TWO

theee first assignment. kinda. welll im not so pleased haha.

i am happy about one thing really and that is that i completed the whole task. yes i shot from 0 to 99 hahah although my pictures as a whole suuuucked. first of all i didnt have any ideas at all it seems like. so i just thought itd be such a better idea to actually FINISH the project then try to be creative which i thought was impressive. but my photos were for most of the time boring. when i was in the grocery store i thought it was cool counting things off and like taking the pictrures of how many of an object were there. but then eventually i had to go and just started writing the numbers out....ha if i were to do this again. i wouldnt put a ton of effort into it but maybe a little more ya know. i needa work on my hacking focus. i didnt know how to focus till after this assignment. the next assignment will be better now that i know that. andddddd try to get my tripod! so those are my things to workk on!
