hmmmm extra credit?

just like a one winged dove.....

kay that song has been stuck in my head alllll day, good ol' stevie.

now let's get down to buisness.
one picture that i wish i took but never did?
this is the worst subject to write on ever, but i am going to try.

when i was in california earlier this term i was so excited to go take pictures down there... when i arrived i noticed i forgot one little detail to my photography packing this would be my tripod...

as you know i am glued to my tripod (which worries me still but slade said it was cool). anyway. the whole time i was there i was beating myself up because everywhere that i looked there was a perrrrfect shot waiting for me and yes for my camera because everytime i take a picture withought that thing it turns out to be garabage. as i was on my vacation wishing i had my buddy tripod i was walking down melrose avenue one day going to my favorite store on the whole stip-spoty l.a. it has every possible tennis shoe known to man in every different color under the rainbow, its A H MAZING. as i continued to walk. there was this man on the street rapping and for all i know he sounded amazing. he looked the part. a man who's been through a lot, wrinkley skin, beat up clothes, skinny. he was rapping about his living status and right behind the wall he was sitting by was a mural it covered the whole wall and it said free city with all these way tight colors i thought at that moment i would love to get the man ongoing rapping with the wall right behind him. i wish i could have taken the picture beause as you have noticed in my past blogs that i am very into the whole inner city/ghetto/city life. and taking this picture would be awsome because for how much i enjoy looking at that type of photography i could actually take it myself.

although i didnt take one picture while i was there it taught me something. that always to pack my tripod duh. and everywhere you go there is an oppurtunity too take some really great pictures. it also taught me that i would love to round myself as i continue my study in photography. to change things up. right now im doing all my photos in like the same place. im going to try next term and from now on to find some differnent locations because i want to see how my work is when there is other surroundings... if its good or bad in different places would really help me grow i think. and that is what i am going to try to take from this assignment and apply it to the future.
